Ayabulela Yokwana

Founder & C.E.O.

Ayabulela Yokwana pioneered gaming-based digital literacy for underserved communities across Africa, building a community-integrated model that keeps learners engaged where traditional programmes see 30–50% attrition. With AWS Education Equity Initiative backing, he has scaled operations to serve 70+ active learners across three schools in Smithfield, Free State.

FunHouse Digital demonstrates that sustainable, high-impact EdTech is possible in resource-constrained environments. By combining gaming, digital skills training and community trust, Aya has built a replicable model for delivering measurable learning outcomes across underserved markets in rural Africa.
